Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Zinc collects, why it is collected, how it is protected, and what choices beta users have.

This Privacy Policy applies to Zinc's web beta, mobile app, marketing site, shared resource pages, and related services that link to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Zinc may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data such as email address, display name, and login identifiers.
  • Self-entered health and tracking data such as experiments, protocols, supplements, recipes, notes, and observations you choose to log.
  • Connected-service data, including wearable or integration data you explicitly authorize Zinc to access.
  • Device and usage data such as browser type, operating system, crash logs, approximate timestamps, feature usage, and diagnostic events.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide authentication, account management, and core product features.
  • Render shared pages and preserve deep links into the app.
  • Operate analytics needed to understand beta funnel health and product reliability.
  • Detect bugs, abuse, security issues, and service degradation.
  • Communicate product updates, support responses, and policy changes.

4. Analytics And Diagnostics

Zinc uses launch-focused analytics and observability to measure product health and beta conversion. We aim to avoid direct personal identifiers in event payloads when they are not required. Current event design for the web beta is documented in the Cookie Policy and internal beta readiness materials.

5. Sharing

Zinc does not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers that help operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, database, analytics, error monitoring, and connected integration providers, subject to contractual or platform controls.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Beta diagnostic data may be retained for launch analysis and incident review.

Zinc uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Zinc is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
